Dear Family and Friends,
This week we saw a lot more rain which was welcome, but we realized that I didn't have an umbrella... So that might be a problem! Haha
Elder Jensen and I are doing our best to help this area, and every day we are meeting more and more people and it has been amazing. We meet some very nice people, and we meet some who like last week, turn into ninjas when they see us, but its all been fun!
This week we also faced a challenge with helping the ward grow. I came to sacrament looking for answers and while reading in Moses I came across the answer. I forgot the chapter but its the conversation that Enoch and Jehovah have. Enoch receives a vision and sees all the Lord's creations on the Earth until Noah. After looking Enoch turns to the Lord and notices that he is weeping. Enoch in essence asks "You make so many things, worlds without end, and you still cry?" I can imagine that after some pondering Enoch then responded "Oh I get it, you are all powerful, but also all loving". The Lord then responds which what I translate into "If only they knew who they were. I created every single one of them and they have forgotten who they are". There really is no such thing as a less active member, as Elder Bowen states "There are only people who don't understand the gospel". We start to lose focus and faith when we forget that we are God's children. "I am a child of God" is a phrase so beautiful, and we say it a lot, but let's not forget what that means. Everyone of us are hand crafted and rooted from an all-powerful and all-loving God, "How great is our calling".
I love it here! The Philippines is great!
Mahal ko kayo lahat!

P.S. If you have missed any of the emails from before you can look here as well!
