Dear Family and Friends,

If anyone has any questions about the mailing stuff, there is a blog that has all this info, When you mail me stuff it gets sent to the mission office, then hand delivered to me. I will try to write all of you if I have time, a mission is a very busy job.
So, to start talking about my week, where to start? We flew into Manilla on the 1st around 11pm adn didn't get to bed until 1am. We woke up in our hotel at 6 and went to the Manilla MTC to start working on post-MTC training and to get our visas. It took a while but we sat in the immigration office for 6 hours, but in that time I was able to get 3 referrals! It was great! After we finished in the MTC they shipped us out to our areas, it was a 6 hour drive to Urdaneta but it was well worth it! We spent a couple days at the mission home and did some orientation. I got my new companion or trainer Elder Abril. He is super awesome! He will be my companion for 3 months. We started working right away, as soon as we unpacked in our apartment (and for those of you who are curious, yes, we use a bucket for our showers, its hard). We spent the first day going around and meeting the members in our area and also the Investigators in our area. Over the past few days we have had 2 dinner appointments, which were very different compared to the dinners we have in the US. Our first dinner we had balut.... for those who don't know what this is. it is a developing duck egg which 2 days before it should hatch they boil it and eat it whole! I love all the members here, they are great and are a huge help as we reach out to the people here that need the gospel.
Well that's all for now, talk to you all next week! I love you all!
