Dear Family and Friends,
It finally happened! Manga (Mangos in Tagalog, they laugh at me whenever I saw MangO not MangA) season is here! Prices for Mangos dropped from 40 pesos per Kilogram, to 5 pesos a Kilogram!!! WHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Let's just say that I've eaten at least 4 fresh mangas every day this week! It's been great! WE also have made Manga Ice Cream, Manga Graham Cake (which is way good by the way), and Fried Mangas! Yum! So yes, I have finally had more than my fair share of fresh mangas, and I am very pleased.
This week we came across some baby goats while we were walking to obne of our appointments, and we felt "inspired" to try to replicate the picture of Jesus carrying the lamb on his shoulders, but since we don't have sheep here, we settled with goats. Well while Elder Makabenta was taking the picture the goat started to nibble on my ear, hence the funny reaction on my face in the picture. Also one of our member's dogs had puppies this week, so I decided to take him home (joke, wish I could though).
This week I also learned a lesson of the workings of the spirit and how we can build our testimonies. I had the opportunity to bear my testimony about the BOM. and I found that when I bore my testimony, I felt like it got better, and firmer. It goes to show that when we exercise our testimony, it will grow, but it won't grow unless we try to grow it. Kinda simple, but to me kinda profound.
I hope that everyone had a great week and that everything is going well! I love you all!
