Dear family and friends,This week was pure amazing! I had my first baptism!!!!
This is Brother Ariel Quinitio! HE is awesome! The sisters started giving him lessons but we finished most of them after! It was the highlight of my week! Seeing the process of his conversion was really special to me, and it really testified to me about how the gospel changes lives wen you choose to accept it! Conversion to a lot of people here is really hard, they may have to give up coffee or alchohol, they have to stop working on sundays (which is usually the day they make the most), and start paying tithing, but for those who try on faith have been blessed with an added happiness!
This week was also Thanksgiving, We had an awesome dinner appointment, and it was a surprise to see that my companions and the family didn't know what it was! At the Kabahay (house) we had a party, but we forgot to buy food.... so Elder Patterson and I settled for a nice bottle of Tang!
The next day I had another exotic dish! I ddin't even know it was possible, but I had fried blood, on a stick (if that makes it sound better). It was alright, but not my favorite thing in the world! (pictures in the attachment)
I can't wait for another week! Mahal Kita! See you in 1.9!
