Dear Family and Friends,
This week we saw rain, and things are starting to get cooler! I will miss the rain, mainly because everyone gets happier here when it does, especially all teh kids!
This week we also had relentless week, which is a program our mission does to push and stretch our work and performance. We have been asked but the Area presidency to testify of the restoration to 30 people every day. This was a challenge for me because it was new, but Elder Jensen and I have learned a lot from it.
My experience this week took days. We went to a part of our area called The AGL Compound. It is a large lot with tons of smaller homes so a lot of people live there. We had been to this area for a while, and this week we decided that we would talk to everyone in that compound. We had two days where as we walked through the compound, everyone would turn into ninjas. I have never seen people run so fast. People would hide behind walls so they wouldn't have to talk to us. This got me really discouraged, I thought o myself why these people would avoid us when we gave them no reason to dislike us. We I was down I remembered the life of Jesus Christ. Isn't is amazing how even the savior of the world was rejected? Not everyone will like us, but just remember that even the most perfect man in the world has enemies. You are never friendless though.
Things are speeding up too fast and it gets faster everyday. I love this land so much and will sad to leave it in September.
Mahal ko kayo lahat!
